In addition to a particularly attractive price/performance ratio, this Toyota GR Yaris Cup competition will offer a huge reward: a rally in the 2027 Belgian Rally Championship in Rally2 for the winner, or three if a Junior wins the Cup!
This is one of the big news stories at the end of the year, which was confirmed last Thursday evening in Brussels with the presence of a car at the RACB Awards. Under the impetus of i4Race, a single-make cup with Toyota GR Yaris Cup cars will be launched in the Belgian Rally Championship in 2026.

“Based on the production version, the Toyota GR Yaris Cup has been perfectly adapted for rallying, initially for an Iberian Cup contested in Spain and Portugal,” explains Laurent Dujacquier, representing i4Race. “With its four-wheel drive, 262 horsepower and highly dynamic chassis, it offers more than convincing performance. As for running costs, they remain very reasonable by virtue of the use of production parts. For the BRC GR Cup, we have chosen to equip the car with a sequential gearbox. This will bring it even closer to Rally3 in terms of performance, but with a significantly lower budget per rally.”
Let us talk about performance! From its very first appearance in Belgium, at the Villersois Rally Sprint in November, the car made a strong impression, both in terms of its stage pace and the enthusiasm shown by Sébastien Bedoret, its driver for the day.

On an equal footing
To ensure maximum fairness and to control costs, the BRC GR Cup will only offer an “Arrive & Drive” formula.
“All cars will be managed by our i4Race team,” Laurent continues. “As it is the driver's talent which interests us above all else, everyone will be placed on an equal footing. This will also help to limit budgets: an independent structure will not be able to make a difference by spending more money than another.”
At the end of each rally, bonuses will be awarded on the basis of the rankings, and the best Junior will also be rewarded. Another special feature: in addition to the awards at the end of the rally, a bonus point will be added for each fastest time on a special stage. This will reward both speed and consistency.

A Rally2 in BRC for the Cup winner
What sets the BRC GR Cup apart is the huge reward promised to its winner. “The winner of the BRC GR Cup will be able to compete in at least one Rally2 event with i4Race,” confirms Laurent Dujacquier. “It is a superb reward which you will not find in any other competition in Belgium!”
With the ultimate objective of discovering young drivers and supporting their development, i4Race will go even further. If a Junior (under 29 years of age) wins the Cup, they will be offered three races in the 2027 Belgian Championship at the wheel of a Rally2 car entered by i4Race. This is an exceptional prize which could change the course of a career!
Already supported by Piragri Oil, Gego Team and MRF Tyres, the BRC GR Cup will feature six rounds in 2026: the Rallye de Wallonie (25 and 26 April), the Sezoensrally (16 May), the Ardeca Ypres Rally (26 and 27 June), the Omloop van Vlaanderen (4 and 5 September), the East Belgian Rally (26 September) and the Spa Rally (28 and 29 November).
