At the new Madring circuit, Lewis Hamilton starts from fourth on Soft tyres, while Charles Leclerc starts fifth on Hards. Clear skies, with an air temperature of 30 degrees with the track at 53.

Start. Lewis makes a good start and passes Max Verstappen for third place, but the Dutchman cuts the chicane and retakes the position, also moving ahead of Andrea Kimi Antonelli. Hamilton is fifth, ahead of Charles.

Lap 3. Verstappen lets Antonelli and Hamilton through, but Lewis suffers a brake problem and is forced to retire. Leclerc is fourth behind Verstappen.

Lap 15. Lance Stroll stops on track: Virtual Safety Car. Antonelli and Verstappen pit, so Leclerc moves up to second place.

Lap 16. The Virtual Safety Car period ends, but Lando Norris pits anyway to change tyres, so Charles is now in the lead.

Lap 48. Charles pits for Soft tyres and rejoins fourth, behind Antonelli, Verstappen and Norris.

Finish. There are no more changes, so Scuderia Ferrari HP leave Spain with a fourth place and 12 points courtesy of Charles.
