Headlining the second Spanish stop for the Fan Zone this year are Atlassian Williams F1 Team driver Carlos Sainz, Team Principal James Vowles, and Reserve Driver Luke Browning. Full appearance details will be announced on the Williams website and social channels.
Located at the iconic Plaza del Callao and in the historic Cines Callao, the free-to-enter event will be open to the public all race week, made possible with the support of Madrid City Council. With only 1% of F1 fans able to attend a Grand Prix in person, the Fan Zones are part of Williams’ long-standing commitment to make F1 more accessible, inclusive, and engaging for both new and long-time fans – bringing the sport out of the circuit and into the centre of cities around the world.
Entry to the Fan Zone is free, but fans must have the Williams app downloaded and be registered to gain access to activities including the opportunity to:
Get up close to a full-scale FW48 show car
Be the first to get their hands on special-edition Madrid merchandise and 2026 Official Team Kit from New Era
Test their reflexes on the reaction ring and Krak the Code to win prizes from the Fan Zone presenting partner Kraken
Get behind the wheel of Komatsu’s haul truck simulator experience
Test their prediction skills and go head-to-head in the BW Scores Tyre or Lower game
Visit the Estrella sampling bar and try their 0.0% that is locally brewed in Spain
Pick up the Madrid special edition Williams x Marvel Comic
Step into the gaming zone and test your skills on state-of-the-art simulators - driving the MADRING circuit before the drivers hit the track
View a trophy display celebrating Williams' Spanish racing history, including the helmets of Carlos Sainz, Marc Gené, and Pastor Maldonado, alongside winning trophies from Barcelona 1993 (Alain Prost), Jerez 1987 (Nigel Mansell), and Barcelona 1997 (Jacques Villeneuve)
