The More Than Equal Driver Development Programme is a high-performance preparation initiative designed to support young female drivers with the potential to progress to elite levels of motorsport. Drivers are selected using a data-driven global talent ranking system, combined with in-depth assessments across driving performance, physical capability, psychological readiness and long-term development potential.

Each driver receives bespoke technical and tactical coaching, physical and mental performance support, and personal development guidance delivered by an in-house team of experienced coaches working in collaboration with evidence-based performance specialists. The programme is built around an age-appropriate, athlete-centred approach that mirrors the long-term development models used successfully in Olympic sport.

The programme places particular emphasis on supporting drivers through the critical transition from karting to single-seater racing, a stage widely recognised as one of the most decisive in a driver’s long-term development.

David Coulthard, Co-founder of More Than Equal, said: “I have seen first-hand how critical early development is in motorsport. More Than Equal is about looking ahead and building a pathway that creates opportunity through preparation, structure and long-term development, informed by data and evidence. This work is about shaping what the future of the sport can and should look like, and we are proud to support the next generation of female drivers as they progress in their careers.”

Tom Stanton, Chief Executive Officer of More Than Equal, said: “Building a sustainable pipeline of female talent requires long-term commitment and the right development environment. This intake reflects the growing depth of female talent worldwide, strengthens our global programme, and reinforces our focus on giving talented drivers the preparation they need to progress through the ranks.”

Lauren Forrow, Head of Driver Development at More Than Equal, added: “The transition from karting into single-seater racing is one of the most critical stages in a driver’s development. Our role is to support these drivers through that change by providing structured technical coaching, physical preparation and performance support that allows them to adapt quickly and build strong foundations for the next phase of their careers.”
