The Team Hyundai Portugal crew won four of the ten stages. Though they led overall three times during the event neither they, nor their rivals were able to build an advantage. Meeke and Hoy started the final stage trailing by just six tenths of a second.

Whilst the final stage was only a Super Special less than 2km long the i20 N Rally2 crew were fastest by over two seconds, vaulting Meeke to a third win of the Portuguese season, with a third different co-driver.

In contrast to their Team Hyundai Portugal team-mates, Ricardo Teodósio and José Teixeira lost a position on the final stage to take fifth. Paulo Meireles and Marcos Gonçalves brought their i20 N Rally2 to eighth overall.
